Construction of scaffolding for Rotundas, Sofia

For the site Mall-Terna, blvd. Tsarigradsko shosse, our client “Polis Construction“ JSC approached us to install scaffolding for rotundas. We installed 4 of them, and the dimenssions of the openings were from 5.00m to 7.00 m. It was necessary to build the scaffolding only on the corresponding floor without going to the lower level.

We designed a variant and made a complex implementation both of the scaffolding itself and of the assembly activity.

We built towers at both ends along the contour of the openings and on either side of the towers we lowered cantilevers opposite each other. In the larger section of the opening of these cantilevers, we hung a metal plate form each so that we could bridge the opening. To prevent the towers from tipping at the ends, we countered with heels at both the lower and upper ends of the ceiling using screws.
