Electric timber planer

The electric planer is designed for planing details of wood materials on a stable base, such as beams and boards.  It is also used for beveling edges and making rebate steps.

To obtain a smooth surface, work at a low feed rate and apply the clamping force in the middle of the machine. When processing hard materials, as well as to wear the maximum width of the knife, use a small depth of cut and, if necessary, reduce the feed.
Too high speed deteriorates the quality of the machined surface.
