“Student of the Year“ - Stroyrent provided the necessary rental equipment for the event

Late last night, the annual “Student of the Year” competition took place. for the year 2019. The event was held in the theater hall of the National Student House in Sofia, which was used for the first time in 19 years.

The ceremony was held under the patronage of the Minister of Education Krasimir Valchev and was organized by the National Representation of student councils. Among those present were the speaker of the National Assembly Tsveta Karayancheva, the chairperson of the Commission for Education and Science Milena Damyanova, the mayor of Sofia Yordanka Fandakova, members of the parliament, representatives of the executive power, experts and members of the public.

For the purposes of the competition , 6 of the latest models of electric heaters, a generator for the building's power supply, an electrical panel and rubber cables were rented from Stroyrent.

A total of 15 students were awarded in the competition, with the grand prize going to Ivan Marinov, who is in the 4th year, majoring in “Heat and nuclear energy“ at Technical University–Sofia. He was awarded by the Speaker of the National Assembly Tsveta Karayancheva.

„Knowledge gives us opportunities to improve, be competitive and move forward, I emphasized to the guests at the ceremony. I called on the young people present to always measure themselves against the best, the most knowledgeable and the most capable“, Tsvetia Karayancheva shared immediately after the ceremony. Among the other winners is Silvia Zarkova from the Business Academy“D.A. Cenov“, with the prize “Doctoral student of the year”. Desislava Chapkanova from Burgas University “Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov“ received the award in the category "Pedagogical Sciences", and Vadim Petrov, from Burgas, was awarded for "Student with Bulgarian citizenship, studying outside the borders of the Republic of Bulgaria". He is a 2nd year doctoral student in “Political Science” at the “Russian University of Friendship of Peoples”.

We are glad that the organizers trusted Stroyrent, choosing the necessary equipment that helped make the event more pleasant.
